If you know me in real life you would almost never see me looking like the right photo. I only put on contact lenses, wear make up, curl my hair and wear something nicer once a week when I take all instagram photos and film all YouTube content for the weeks to come😅 No one looks their best 100% of the time but it should not affect what you think and how you feel about yourself - even if society might look at you differently. I used to turn around and run away when I saw people I know on the street because I felt like I was not looking the way they expected me to, aka the way I looked on social media. I only felt confident to say hi to everyone when I did my hair, make up , and was wearing my best outfit. The fact that I was embarassed about how I truly looked without all that is NOT real self confience. It's natural that we feel better when we know we look good and we also cannot control how others judge us based on our looks. But all we can do is to learn to embrace and be confident enough to be happy with who we really are - it is a constant learning journey of self-love and confidence that we will always be on, and we should never give up.
